We are approved by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health to deliver Level 2 Food Safety and Catering, Level 2 Health & Safety at Work, Level 2 Conflict Resolution and Personal Safety, Level 3 Professional Trainers Certificate and First Principles of Manual Handling.

All First Aid qualifications are accredited through ADJ Training who are approved by the Health and Safety Executive. All courses are delivered regularly at the Rainbow Centre, or can be delivered in your premises at a time to suit your business needs, including weekends and evenings. We also offer discounts for group bookings of 10 candidates or more, and all fees include resources and certification for the courses.

Food Safety and Catering 

This new Level 2 qualification replaces the foundation qualification which is no longer accredited and concentrates on the principles of food safety ensuring that the food prepared, served or sold is safe to eat. 1 day course 9am - 5pm

Health & Safety at Work

This qualification will benefit anyone in a work environment (or wanting to work) as it provides candidates with an understanding of health and safety that will enable them to contribute to any risk assessment based on health & safety management system.

Conflict Resolution and Personal Safety

This qualification will benefit any worker who has to deal with the public. It will help staff and Managers recognise potential problems before they arise and develop the skills to defuse conflicts before they escalate to serious confrontation and violence with the aim of making a safer working environment.

Fist Aid at Work

You are required by law to make an assessment of significant risks in your workplace. As people at work can suffer injuries or become ill, it does not matter whether the injury or the illness is caused by the work they do or not, you must have adequate arrangements which may include employing First Aiders.

This 4 consecutive day course has a practical exam at the end which will provide the candidate with a recognised qualification.

First Aid Refresher Course

2 day refresher qualification as First Aid at Work needs renewing every 3 years - £80 per delegate.

Pediatric First Aid Course

This course is designed to deal with First Aid situations for babies and children and is required for anyone working in childcare.

2 day course - 9am - 4.30pm

Appointed Persons First Aid Course

An Appointed Person does not replace the need for a qualified First Aider in the workplace, but this role can be used when a risk assessment identified that there is not a need for a First Aider. An Appointed Persons role is to call the emergency services where required, assist the qualified First Aider and look after the First Aid equipment.

1 day course  - 9am - 4.30pm - £50 per delegate

Professional Trainers Certificate

Trainers and potential trainers from any discipline will benefit from the programme, as the qualification concentrates on the training process, rather that training content. This 4 day course covers:

How to design and deliver short training courses
Helping learners achieve SMART training objectives
Different teaching and learning strategies
Assessment and evaluation
This qualification extends the content of basic training techniques by encouraging a dynamic and flexible approach to training and delivery.

It is ideal for anyone from an absolute novice who needs to understand the basics of training practice, or those with some experience who want to refine their training techniques.

The programme involves additional work outside the session, including a presentation which will be delivered at the last session.

Delegates will also gain greater enthusiasm and confidence for training delivery, as well as ideas for creativity and further development.
